Corrective Action

 

Employment is always at-will, and either the employee or the Company can terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Without in any way limiting the at-will nature of the employment, the Company may, in its discretion, use one or more disciplinary procedures to address problems in the hope of bringing performance or conduct up to an acceptable level.

 

Some of the disciplinary procedures which the Company may elect to use are as described below. This does not in any way limit the disciplinary procedures which can be used, nor does it impose any obligation on the Company to follow any order of corrective action or to use one or more of the following procedures.

 

1)      Verbal Counseling

2)      Oral Warning

3)      Written Warning

4)       Termination

 

 

Employment Records

 

 The Company, in accordance with state and federal laws, keeps records showing:

 

1)      Your home and mailing addresses

2)      Telephone Number

3)      U.S. Citizenship or proper work papers

4)      Names and telephone numbers of persons to notify in case of emergency

5)      Any other information relative to you and your employment

 

Your personnel file is J.A.F.CARPENTRY LLC's property and is maintained by the Company as a permanent record of your work history. It is extremely confidential and is only available to authorized persons'. The release of information from the personnel file is only done with the express consent of the employee or as deemed appropriate by the Company.

 

You can help to keep your file up-to-date by informing the Company of any changes in your address, telephone number, etc. Any changes in these records should be reported immediately to the Office Manager. Since these records are confidential the Company recognizes your right to privacy and will maintain that privacy, within the parameters of its legal obligations.
